We use so-called cookies with our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies that are placed and stored on your end device by the internet browser you use. These cookies process certain information about you, such as your browser or location data, or your IP address, to an individual extent.
Through this processing, our website becomes more user-friendly, effective, and secure because, for example, the processing enables the display of our website in different languages or the offering of a shopping cart function.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if these cookies process data for the purpose of initiating or fulfilling a contract.
If the processing does not serve the purpose of initiating or fulfilling a contract, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website. The legal basis in this case is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The Google Analytics service is used to analyze the usage behavior of our website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our website.
Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, location, time, or frequency of visits to our website, is transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the IP anonymization feature. This means that Google shortens the IP address within the EU or the European Economic Area.
The data collected in this way is used by Google to provide us with an evaluation of the visit to our website and the user activities there. This data can also be used to provide other services related to the use of our website and the internet.

However, this does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or other web analytics services. You can also find information about other web analytics services we may use in this privacy policy.

We use YouTube in connection with the "Enhanced Privacy Mode" feature to display videos. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of our website. According to YouTube, the "Enhanced Privacy Mode" ensures that the data described in more detail below is only transmitted to the YouTube server when you actually start a video.
Without this "Enhanced Privacy Mode," a connection to the YouTube server in the United States is established as soon as you visit one of our web pages on which a YouTube video is embedded.
This connection is necessary to display the respective video on our website through your internet browser. As part of this process, YouTube will at least collect and process your IP address, the date and time of access, and the website you visited. In addition, a connection to Googles "DoubleClick" advertising network is established.
If you are logged into YouTube at the same time, YouTube will associate this information with your YouTube account. If you want to prevent this, you must either log out of YouTube before visiting our website or adjust the corresponding settings in your YouTube user account.
For functionality and usage analysis purposes, YouTube permanently stores cookies on your device through your internet browser. If you do not agree with this processing, you have the option to prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting the settings in your internet browser.
